Welcome to my website
Having enjoyed blogging for some time now, I felt it was time to have a go at creating my own website, however as I have absolutley no knowledge of writing HTML code I did not know where to begin. Then thanks to a chance with meeting with Garve of Plexus Media I found out about spanglefish.com and this site is the result.
My intention is to continue blogging but only on Facebook.
UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2019: It's now approaching two years since I moved back to Kent after 16 years in the Scottish Highlands, and yes I do miss the Highlands and the friends I made there but I don't miss the politics and the awful mess the SNP are making of the country. My downsizing has now finish and earlier this year I moved to a lovely flat in Hythe. I'm only a couple of minutes walk from the Royal Military Canal and the seafront and I've spent many hours this summer exploring and photographying the canal and its wildlife.
I am back teaching dancing again but only for one evening a week and helping my friend Lynn Chapman with her classes.
Over the past 15 years I have travelled extensively visiting the Falkland Islands, the island of South Georgia, Antarctica and Argentina and a number of holidays to European destinations and with Gill we did a round the world trip and have done 2 trips to New Zealand, so at some time I'll post some links to my Flickr pages for anyone interested in seeing my photos.
